James Foley: A Man of Moral Courage

September 4 is the 10th anniversary of the founding of the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation, named in memory of American journalist, Jim Foley, who was kidnapped, held hostage for nearly two years and murdered in 2014. The Foundation will host a community discussion focusing on Jim’s life and work. In advance of this meeting, you are encouraged to learn more by viewing the HBO documentary Jim: the James Foley Story, available on most streaming platforms, and in the 2024 book, American Mother by Column McCann and Diane Foley.
